STIHL ErgoStart (E)
STIHL ErgoStart makes it possible to start the machine with very little effort. This supports the starting process with an additional spring accumulator between the crankshaft and starting device which reduces the force needed to start the machine. Even if you only pull the starting cord slowly the engine starts easily.

Tool free filler cap
Patented special filler caps for fuel and oil. These filler caps can be opened and closed again, quickly and easily without tools.

Electronic ignition module
This ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus proof against damp and dirt.

Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
